My second mother

 I'm going to talk about my teacher today.💝My life changed a lot because of my school teacher.My parents could not recognize my ability and she recognized my potential and encouraged me even more.Her name is Inoka Priyadarshani.Long live my teacher who taught me the right way!!!🙏🙏🙏

   ENDANGERED SPECIES OF FISH 

A large number of fish species endemic to Sri Lanka are threatened with extinction.Among those fish species are 🐟Le Tittaya,🐡️ Asoka Pethiya, Dankuda Pethiya,🐠 Dumbara Pethiya, Pathirana Salaya, Dadaya, Bandula Pethiya, Bulath Hapaya, Dith Pethiya and Wilpita Dandiya.Among them I am going to talk about Pathirana Salaya and Dumbara Pethiya and Thith Pethiya. 

1.Pathirana pethiya 

The fish is about two inches long and has a slightly raised mouth.The yellow and black Vairan in the body are located directly between them.The body is flat on both sides.

2.Dumbara Pethiya 

This fish lives in streams associated with rocks and plants and is about 8-10 inches long.The fins turn dark.There is a black spot near the back fin.

3. Gadaya 

Body color is dark.The mouth is located below the eye.There are small blisters in front of the mouth.There is a black spot near the back fin.

 ~Legends about the location of the name of our ~

🌄Legend has it that the name Beliatta came from an old woman who sold Beli.The ruins in our area show that it was a developed area in the kingdom of Ruhuna.This is how the name of the village where I live is formed.There are many legends regarding the name location of Getamanna area.As one of them, the pottery industry was prevalent in our area, and our grandmothers👵 and grandfathers👴 said that the word "village censorship", which was often used there, Getamanna had become synonymous with the passage of time.The other legend is that one woman took the sourdough to the field and invited the people to eat the sourness of the lotus leaf, but a young man refused.There, the mother says that the expression "the size of the knot" was later changed to  of the Getamanna ".

My best friend

 👭 My best friend's is k.k.Bavanthi Dileka.She is 23 years old. She lives in Beliatta.She went to school at Getamanna Vijaya National School.Her family consists of mother, elder sister, brother and younger sister.Her favorite color is white.🤓She loves to eat kottu.😋Bawanthi loves to eat mangoes.😊She reads books as a hobby.Her future hope is to become a teacher.🤩She loved to be a college teacher.  But her score was so low that she could not live up to her expectations.Although she is unable to go to university, she is working hard to live up to her expectations.She is very kind and helps everyone she can.Her favorite subjects are IT👩‍💻 and English.👩‍💼she is pretty.She has elongated face and fair skin.😍Although she has known me since she was a child, she became very close with me during her history class.👯Our friendship is 3 years old.❤She was close to me in my sorrows as well as in my joys.💕🤗When I ask her for help, she quickly postpones her work or helps me.I can not meet her due to the current situation in the country, but she looks after me whenever she can.I wish I could go to class with my friend like before.Tears well up in my eyes as I think back to those days.😭😭😭I'm lucky to have a good friend like her.May my next soul be my best friend too!🥰🥰🌹 I love my best friend so much.

Interesting book I read

           

                                  I have read a large number of books from my childhood to the present day.One of the books that touched my heart the most was the book Madold
uwa by Martin Wickramasinghe.

The protagonist is Upali Giniwelle, a boy from a wealthy family.His best friend was Jinnah.Mr.Martin Wickramasinghe at the beginning of this book The aggressive actions of Upali and his gang are described.Sometimes as thieves and other times as Veddas, they have fun harassing others.Upali's father stopped him at the house of a teacher named Dharmasinghe due to his arbitrary actions.Upali's father did this to separate him from his friends and lead him on the right path.By that Upali was even more stubborn.Mr. Dharmasinghe informed Upali's father about the stubbornness and before his father arrived, Upali secretly ran away from home.He boarded a boat parked on the beach and went to sea with the fishermen who were there at night.That journey was able to add another experience to Upali's life.He goes to house and then runs away from home with his best friend Jinnah.They went to Koggala Madolduwa Island with the help of Podi Gamarala and lived in clearing the jungle.They went to Koggala Madolduwa Island with the help of Podi Gamarala and lived in clearing the jungle.They grow vegetables on the island and enrich themselves.This book by Martin Wickramasinghe is a book that can be enjoyed by all, young and old alike.I saw it as a special feature I saw in this book.Also, the words are matched in an emotional way.Another reason why I love this book is that it uses a simple language that anyone can grasp quickly.There are many examples we can take from this book into our lives.Among them are courage, diligence and so on.

   🌳 Jackfruit tree .Jackfruit tree😊🌳The jackfruit is a tree that is closely related to the life of our Sinhalese people.The jackfruit tree is also known as the rice tree.🌳This tree belongs to the Mulberry family and has been helping the Sinhalese to make ends meet  since ancient times.. Endemic to South Asia and suitable for tropical lowlands.The current name of the jackfruit tree🌳 is derived from the Portuguese name Paka. It is also known as Herali.The fruit of the jackfruit tree is also known as the polos😋😍 when it is young Ripe jackfruit (vine and waraka) 😋😋is also an ancient fruit.Jackfruit can be prepared in different ways.In addition,The timber value of jackfruit is also very high.The core in the middle of the jackfruit tree is a strong, durable wood.Therefore, jack wood is used to make durable furniture such as door frames, window frames, doors and beds, chairs and cupboards.Despite being such a useful plant, few people are tempted to grow jackfruit trees.

Arthur V. Dias, 👴a visionary Sinhalese, started a jackfruit planting project in our country a few decades ago.🙏Hence the name Jack Uncle.King Ashoka, an Indian king, also took steps to expand the jackfruit plant.The jackfruit tree is one of the most valuable plants in our country.🥇👍

Reading increases knowledge

 

📕📔We find a wide variety of books, including novels, short stories, educational books, and story books. They contain a variety of knowledge.Through books you can travel freely to any country.This is what Maxim Gorky says about the fruits of his life reading books. "The more books I read, the more pure my heart became.My heart sank.Calm down. My self-confidence grew.I did not count on the boundless insults that life had inflicted on me".  The value of books is well illustrated by his point of view.Today's youth are away  from  reading  books .As a result ,the  imagination  of the  younger  generation  has waned .To get rid of this condition we all get used to reading  at least one book a week.
